The National Institute for World Trade (NIWT), founded in 1986, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping corporations, trade and professional associations, universities, and governments meet the challenge of today's complex and rapidly evolving global marketplace.
NIWT programs have included such fields as: International Trade and Economic Development, Education & Training, Educational Technology, Environmental Concerns, Agricultural Programs, Pharmaceutical-Related Industries, Telemedicine and Security (including Terrorism Risk Management).
NIWT offers its expertise to its clients, recognizing the business and information skills which must be acquired to be competitive in global markets: exports, imports, technology transfer and equity management.
NIWT stimulates cooperative relationships among business, government and academic institutions in the US and abroad.
